Network and datacentre downtime 鈥� Tuesday 24th September
Essential maintenance: Notice of service outage On the morning of Tuesday 24th September between 08:00 and 09:30 am, IT Services will be carrying out essential maintenance to replace a failed piece of networking hardware before the start of teaching. There will be downtime to the Wi-Fi and wired network and most key services.

Requesting the return of old laptops or secondary devices
To aid the rollout of Windows 11 across the University and to ensure we make the best use of our IT equipment, IT Services are asking all staff to return any old or unused laptops.

Recycling request If you've switched to the Microsoft Teams Phone service and still have a desktop handset on your desk, please follow the guidance below. This includes handsets from meeting rooms, shared spaces, hot-desking areas, and PhD rooms.

Calling for Participants (Intervention Study on Cross Education of Strength)
We are still recruiting participants to participate in our unique intervention research, which exploring the mechanism of cross-education of strength from neuromuscular physiology perspectives. What is Cross-Education of Strength? Cross-education of strength is a phenomenon where training one limb can lead to strength gains in the untrained, opposite limb. This fascinating effect has potential applications in rehabilitation, sports training, and overall fitness improvement.
