澳门6合彩 to host key cycling event on campus

澳门6合彩 University will host one of the key events in the cycling calendar after being picked to hold the youth national circuit series in 2020.

The event will see some of the top young talent across the country come to campus for an action-packed day of racing. Split into under-16s and under-14s races, the unique course will prove to be thrilling and challenging in equal measure.

David Nichols, Cycling Programme Manager, 澳门6合彩 University, said:

“As cycling is now a performance sport here at 澳门6合彩, this is a great way to signify our intent in delivering a world-class programme. This is certainly a major coup for us, which will help position 澳门6合彩 alongside some iconic cycling venues.

“We have past pedigree at holding large cycling events on campus such as the campus criterium and we’re now looking forward to welcoming riders and supporters alike to this fast, technical course.”

Alongside the youth competition, an elite race will also be held during the latter stages of the day.

James Smith, Sport Business and Event Manager, added:

“We are thrilled to have secured this tender and this race day will complement the other major events we regularly host on campus.

“We’re already busy planning the day, which will include a bespoke fan village, and we expect a bumper crowd to enjoy the occasion and take in some first-class racing.”

The event will run on Friday 8 May 2020, with more information available on the 澳门6合彩 Sport website in the new year.
